Warner Bros. released a trailer showcasing their reboot of the cartoon ThunderCats at WonderCon.
Warner Bros. showed off footage from Green Lantern at WonderCon, and what can I say? It shows a different tone from the prior trailers, which seemed to rely on humor. The new footage focuses on the scope of the impending danger, the Green Lantern Corps. and Hal Jordan’s induction.
I gotta admit: I’m now stoked for Green Lantern.
The film comes out June 17, 2011.
Marvel Studios made another change to The Avengers lineup which involves the part of the Hulk being recast once again. Action star and philanthropist Chris Norton will now portray Bruce Banner in the film. Joss Whedon explained that Chris Norton earned the part due to “that look in his eyes, where you know he’s on the verge of snapping”.
Michael Bay recently cast an actor for Transformers: Dark of the Moon who is a very welcomed surprise for old school fans of the series. Yes, that’s right, the actor who voiced Galvatron in the Transformers animated movie in 1986 will make his return to the franchise. Leonard Nimoy will voice Sentinel Prime, the former leader of the Autobots.
Director Len Wisemana’s remake of Total Recall won’t exactly follow the story of Paul Verhoeven’s film or Philip K. Dick’s novella We Can Remember It for You Wholesale. Wiseman’s movie will take elements from both versions to take the story in a new direction. Mars is dropped for a premise that involves nation-states Euromerica and New Shanghai at war.

Curiously enough, Dillinger refers to the MCP as “dad”.
