It appears that heartthrob Jensen Ackles will grace our televisions on two shows instead of one, at the same time. Clearly, absolutely no one has a problem with this. Not only will Ackles star in The Boys spinoff, Vought Rising, but he will also star in MGM+’s Rules of Prey.
Based on the novel by John Sandford, the show will center around former detective Lucas Davenport, who is drawn back in the fray to investigate a string of murders meant to get his attention. Obviously, we all know who Jensen Ackles is playng: the villain. By which I mean the hero, Lucas Davenport.
I can’t say that I read the books, but having Jensen Ackles star as the lead has piqued my interest. And after all, who doesn’t love a good psychological thriller?
