It’s certainly the week of sequels. The Terminator had some recent rumblings on Twitter thanks to Annapurna Pictures, the studio that holds the rights to the franchise.
The studio picked a good film to quote, if the news is about a fifth movie. The last two flicks were seen as mediocre — to put it lightly — while the first two were highly regarded. The quote gives the impression of picking up where Terminator 2 left off. The mere thought piques my interest. After all, it’d be perfectly fine to ignore a couple movies; it deals with time travel and alternate timelines.
The news is a little suspect too, considering that Arnold Schwarzenegger has made his return to film. And what better way to return than to revitalize the franchises that made him big?
