The CW is trying to fill in the gap left by Smallville and may possibly have found a replacement in their new show, Arrow. The series stars Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen/Green Arrow.
The trailer reminds me too much of the show Birds of Prey from 2002; a show that didn’t exactly perform well with viewers back then. Then again, Arrow does stand a better chance considering that comic books have become more mainstream.
Nevertheless, Arrow could use some of the goofy charm from Smallville. It’d be hard to stay interested in a show that takes itself too seriously.
Arrow debuts in the CW’s lineup this fall, on Wednesdays at 8 PM.[/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
