The highly entertaining and hilarious show Archer continues to pull in more viewers in its third season. So of course FX ordered a fourth season of Archer. Obviously. The fourth season will contain 13 episodes — which is just enough if you ask me.
What? You didn’t ask me? But seriously, it’s enough. It’s too easy for shows to lose quality when its spread out through a large number of episodes. A decent amount makes it more manageable to produce quality episodes as opposed to having a few mediocre ones that could hurt a strong season.
Oh yeah, you’re odd and don’t know what the show is about? It centers around a self-centered spy named Sterling Archer and other ISIS (International Intelligence Service) agents and employees. The jokes in the show range from childish to subtle and clever; and flows into both styles with ease.
So yes, bring on more Archer — I’ll drink to that.
