Director Bryan Singer keeps fans in the loop with what’s happening on the set for X-Men: Days of Future Past by tweeting pictures. This time we get to see Hugh Jackman on set as Logan, alongside Nicholas Hoult, who reprises his role as Hank McCoy (Beast). Singer captioned the photo “Welcome to 1973.”

thewolverineHugh Jackman may have finished filming The Wolverine but playing the character is far from over. In not-so-surprising news, Jackman will reprise the role for Bryan Singer’s X-Men: Days of Future Past. It makes perfect sense since Wolverine played a huge role in the graphic novel. PSY and Hugh Jackman Pose Together

World-renowned Korean sensation PSY recently tweeted a photo of himself with X-Men heartthrob Hugh Jackman. And as you can clearly see, they’re both brandishing Logan’s claws. Could this mean a bloody “Wolvie-nam Style” music video? Of course not, but the idea of “Gangnam Style” with Wolverine’s claws sounds unforgettable.

Wolverine Gets a Sequel

By |2019-05-25T14:42:36-08:00August 21st, 2010|

A sequel for Wolverine is underway with two directors in mind: Robert Schwentke and David Slade. The story continues, this time with Logan in Japan. The latest draft of the script is written by Christopher McQuarrie. And, of course, Hugh Jackman is attached to the project.

Logan’s origin is a long one due to his healing factor slowing his aging considerably, and in the comics, Japan is involved in his past. But do we really need a continuation on his origin after all the liberties the last film took? The only thing they essentially got right was Sabretooth’s personality. Ignoring the comic books, the film itself was mediocre. Not to mention the effects were laughable.

I have a little hope that the second outing will be more respectful and true to the comics — Hugh Jackman is clearly passionate about playing Wolverine, and he loves his fans. Hopefully he’ll reel in the suits. It’d suck to end up with a similar fate like M. Night Shyamalan’s.
