Marvel Studios is on the prowl for an actor to bring Doctor Strange to life. One of the names now making rounds is real human being, Ryan Gosling.
The actor who won the hearts of women and men alike recently met with Marvel to discuss the possibility. Although, he’s also being courted for a role in DC’s Suicide Squad. But let’s get back to Doctor Strange.
Who wouldn’t want Gosling conjuring up spells to fight opposing forces? That’s a rhetorical question. Everyone does. Unless you aren’t a fan of Gosling. Then, uh . . .
At this point it’s pretty clear that I’m a fan. I still want Pedro Pascal (Game of Thrones) for the role, but if we can’t have him, I’m perfectly fine with Gosling. If he gets the role, the only downside (or upside?) is the slash fiction that will surface of Stephen Strange and Tony Stark.
Doctor Strange is slated for release July 8, 2016.
