Two years ago, Topher Grace proved that he’s a lot like his character on That ’70s Show and took his love of Star Wars and re-edited the prequels into a single film. It was only screened once for a limited audience.
Grace’s edit of the prequels was described as cutting large parts; taking out the politics, the clone army, General Greivous, and all but one shot of the infamous Jar Jar Binks. What he had essentially done was simplify the story and made it more cohesive with the original trilogy.
It sounds like Grace still won’t release the entire cut, but he posted a trailer for his version of the prequels on his newly launched website, which can be viewed HERE.
Check it out. Do it for the rebels. Or the fallen empire. Whichever. Just don’t make me force you.
