Sylvester Stallone’s Expendables has become a franchise with its mix of old and new action stars having a blast together. Each movie brought on new additions to join in on the fun, so it comes as no surprise that a third film is in the works with more actors coming in.
A while back Stallone expressed how he wanted beloved, crazy actor Nicolas Cage to join the ensemble for the third outing. Turns out he got just what he wanted. Stallone took to Facebook to announce that Cage is officially on board for The Expendables 3.
It’s safe to say that Cage is more than likely going to steal the show with each moment that he’s on screen. Plus the mere thought of Cage interacting with the rest of the cast sounds like a glorious thing.
Stallone also mentioned that he’d like for Harrison Ford, Wesley Snipes and Mickey Rourke to join the mix — which would only make things even more magnificent.
