Actor Terry Crews is every action star’s hero, and if any film foreshadowed that, it was Idiocracy. He played the unforgettable “five-time Ultimate Smackdown champion, porn superstar, and President of the United States” Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Herbert Camacho. A mouthful, I know. (Phrasing!)

Now why am I bringing up President Camacho? Crews was in talks with writer and director Mike Judge about bringing back the character in some form. Who could blame him? It looks like a lot of fun to play.

Oh, and if you haven’t had the pleasure of watching Idiocracy, here’s a clip to give you a taste:

Crews and Judge apparently came up with ideas and came forward to Fox for their blessing.

“Me and Mike

[Judge] are talking right now with Fox about some Camacho stuff.  We literally met with Fox a week ago. It’s so cool… We’re going to see what it becomes, but we got approval from Fox to do some stuff.  We’re going to start off on the internet and do some small interstitials with Camacho.”

-Terry Crews

It’s more than obvious that it’s a great idea. Now hopefully it eventually leads to a President Camacho movie. You know it’d be an instant success. It’s Terry Crews; when doesn’t he steal the show?
