The film adaptation of Seth Grahame-Smith’s novel Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter is underway with Timur Bekmambetov (Wanted) at the helm. In the starring role as Lincoln is Broadway actor Benjamin Walker.
Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter is a fictional biography detailing Lincoln’s life as a vampire hunter, rise as president, and battles against vampires during the Civil War.
Walker will portray Lincoln from early adulthood to the middle-aged president, complete with his famous beard.
Sounds ridiculous, right? Ridiculous fun.
I really enjoyed the book as ridiculous the story is its an interesting twist on history and one of America’s most famous presidents. I own the book if you would like to read it.
